The unusual "Skiing
by boat" (Sea & Mountain) formula
is the result of a project which has been close to heart for
a great many years. Bringing together Sea and Mountains, two
fascinating universes, so different and yet so close…
Norway offers the possibility of being able
to offer sea, fjords and cross-country skiing.
We have been sailing the arctic waters of Spitzberg since 1995
and have been fine tuning our Sea & Mountain trips in Norway
since 1997. The experience acquired is highly appreciated by all
the guides. Uppermost in our minds, both us and the guides, is "Quality" and
seriousness.
Safety reasons and local rules and regulations require all
groups to be accompanied by a "Mountain Guide". This technical
presentation is therefore aimed at "Mountain Guides" who
wish to organise a cross-country skiing trip based on a boat
in Norway.
